Return and Warranty
OVERVIEW
Cbotmate products purchased in Australia come with statutory rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The rights described in this Limited Warranty are in addition to those statutory rights.
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure of a Cbotmate product and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have your Cbotmate product repaired or replaced if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure is minor. In such cases, Cbotmate may choose to repair, replace, or refund the product.
A claim for compensation must be supported by documentary evidence of the loss or damage suffered, and that such loss or damage was a reasonably foreseeable consequence of a failure by Cbotmate to comply with a consumer guarantee under the ACL. Such evidence may include photographs, statutory declarations, receipts, or reports depending on the loss or damage.
LIMITED WARRANTY
In addition to your rights under the ACL, Cbotmate warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase.
If your Cbotmate product becomes defective during this warranty period, we will, at our option and to the extent permitted by law, either:
Repair the product using new or refurbished parts, free of charge (shipping and handling costs may apply); or
Replace the product with a new or refurbished equivalent, free of charge (shipping and handling costs may apply); or
Refund all or part of the original purchase price.
This Limited Warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part, or replacement Cbotmate product for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days, whichever is longer. All replaced products or parts for which a refund is issued become the property of Cbotmate.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear, including consumable parts such as cleaning cloths, pads, or filters.
Malfunction or damage caused by commercial use or non-domestic use.
Malfunction or damage caused by renovation debris, sand, dust, liquids, or chemicals.
Malfunction or damage due to natural disasters (e.g., floods, fires, lightning).
Malfunction or damage due to accidents, misuse, negligence, dropping, liquid immersion, or improper voltage input.
Use of the product for rental or similar commercial purposes.
Damage caused by foreign objects or substances.
Repairs, alterations, or modifications carried out by unauthorised third parties.

Please provide your invoice number as proof of purchase.
Contact us at support@cbotmate.com with details of the issue, along with any supporting evidence (e.g., photos or descriptions of the fault).
We will guide you through the next steps, which may include product inspection, repair, or replacement, as appropriate under this warranty.
